Who We Are
With Lucky Dog's Dog's Day Out program, volunteers can choose to take a pup on various adventures; a long walk, a car-ride home for a nap on your couch or a daylong hiking trip! Dog's Day Out Adventures are a great way to give Lucky Dogs a break from boarding, boost their adoption chance through public exposure and provide behavioral insights.
What We Do
Volunteers must be 18+ years old to check out a dog, but younger volunteers may participate with the adult handling the dog leash.
We ask that you send an email to the team with pictures, video and an update on how your Dog's Day Out Adventure went! We use this behavioral information to make the dog's adoption bios have a personal touch! Information about where you went (city or suburbs), what you did and how the dog responded to the activity, how the dog was on leash, etc is all super helpful!
